UNC-TV EVENT 2/25/2012

Fellow Submariners, mark your calendar for Saturday, February 25 as it is time again to positively promote USSVI and to reach out to other Submarine Veterans statewide through the broadcast of public television.
We will be joining UNC-TV for an exciting behind the scenes public television experience while enjoying fellowship with our USSVI shipmates and some new friends.
There is no selling or soliciting involved, volunteers simply answer the phones and take contributions while on the air. Some of the many benefits for volunteers include:
- Complimentary food and beverages provided by some of the Triangle’s best restaurants and caterers.
- Ensuring others enjoy the privilege of having commercial-free television in their homes.
- One year free subscription to Centerpiece, a monthly program guide.
- USSVI will receive (2) thirty second interviews on the air if we have 20 volunteers participate.
Our volunteer shift from 10:30 AM– 3:00 PM includes frequent off air breaks for socializing and enjoying complimentary food and beverage.
Bring your vest to wear as we will be seen on the air!

The UNC-TV studio is located in Research Triangle Park at 10 T.W. Alexander Drive, see directions below:
