This year, it was announced that only 45 WWII Subvets were in attendance at the annual memorial service, which was a decline of around 15 from the previous year. NC Subvets were again one of the largest groups having 14 members from the Carolina Piedmont, Nat Greene, and Tarheel Bases along with wives and guests present. The weather was cool and windy during the service. This was the first year that there was no banquet, so a much bigger crowd attended the Goat Locker Steak Dinner on Friday night. A great Low Country Boil on Saturday afternoon at the Eagle's Club. Again no Superman, only Clark Kent showed up.

License Plate Czar Jerry Leppart had a special delievery for Mike Burkholder, who was down from Indiana.
