 We had 19 Subvets from the Carolina Piedmont, Nat Greene, and Tarheel Bases participating in this year’s parade. We had our traditional group picture in front of the Old Navy Store in Salisbury. There were huge crowds of spectators as always for this parade. John Rupertus was contacted by a member of the parade committee to let us know that we won $100.00 for the most unique parade entry. It was suggested that we add the winnings to the trailer maintenance fund.
